Bryan Wethington, Chief Investment Officer of MCZ Capital Ventures, has been in the private equity industry for 10 years. Mr. Wethington oversees the firm’s control buyout investment strategy. Mr. Wethington is also the Vice President of River Capital an Atlanta based lower middle market buyout firm. He directs the firm’s investment strategy and currently serves on the boards of Five Star Manufacturing and Blue Wave Products, both River Capital portfolio companies. In addition, Mr. Wethington is an active board member of Bridge Brothers an Atlanta based steel bridge fabricator where he led the effort to acquire Topper Industries a Washington based aluminum bridge fabricator. Before joining River Capital Mr. Wethington founded Southern Setup & Rebel Yell, Inc. He successfully exited both companies in 2017. Currently Mr. Wethington owns full or partial interests in over half a dozen other companies, including The Brand Logic Group, Outback Leather, The STR Method, Funyl Academy and Bungalow Brands. In addition, he has extensive experience in diverse industries including Hospitality, Entertainment, Apparel, Staffing, Landscaping, and Consumer Products. Mr. Wethington earned his bachelor’s degree in managerial finance with a minor in real estate from the University of Mississippi.
